Make a Press Kit

Convention season is up and running. How does a web comicker make their work noticed on a floor of a bazillion talented artists writers? There are lots of techniques for this, but the trick is not only to be noticed, but also to be remembered…especially by those who are going to be writing and reviewing and publishing comic works! One way to be remembered is to hand out Press Kits to key folks.
But what do you put in a press kit? Let me refer you to this article in Art Licensing Blog. Although this is a great list, I would also include an ashcan comic or sample strips in the kit. Write and print out as many of these items as you think you will need (I would say at least 20 sets for a medium-sized convention). At the office supply store, get a box of folders that have pockets and a place to insert your business card. (Whether you bind your items or not is up to you.)
You will look so professional when you give these out to reviewers and bloggers at the convention. AND, they will have all the reference material they will need to contact you about a review of your work, an interview, or maybe even publication or commission.
Can you think of anything else to include in a press kit? Do you think you will make one and use it?
